This media center from Harman/Kardon offers CD ripping and playback, a 250GB hard disk, plus support for up to 1TB of external storage for archiving your music. There's optional iPod connectivity, audio streaming capability for up to four zones and a 1080p-upscaling DVD player with HDMI output.

Once a CD is played for the first time on the Harman/Kardon DMC 1000 it is automatically added to the 250GB hard-drive library. In a short period all your music is digitized. The content from the DMC 1000 hard drive may be copied via the concealed front-panel USB jack and memory card slots to all sorts of storage devices and portable music players. In total the Harman/Kardon DMC 1000 can store more than 60.000 songs on its hard-drive.
