Leaning is moving
But how does it work? Dynamic Stabilization is the keyword. When you step on the Segway and lean forward, the Segway will prevent you from falling over. Instead it will move forward. If you want to go faster, you put in some more weight. Leaning backwards will allow you to stop or even back-up. In order to steer the Segway you simply turn the handlebars and lean into the curve. When you have managed the technique, you will be able to reach up to 25 km (approx. 15 miles) per hour. Tired of walking while playing golf? Or do you prefer to do some sightseeing at a bit faster pace? There is Segway for every occasion. Depending on what you have in mind for your Segway the size, battery and of course the tires differ.

Buying or leasing
The Segway doesn’t come cheap. If you want one, you will need to spend at least $ 5000,- In return you will have a very easy to use and very mobile method of transportation allowing you to move around at a very acceptable speed. If someone attempts to move or steal your latest investment, an alarm will sound and your Segway will start vibrating, the wheels will lock, and a visual alert will be sent wirelessly to your mobile. Of course this is not a 100% guarantee. It might be better to look into leasing. The Segway is available for lease as of € 7,50 per day incl. insurance.
