Sony introduced the first full-frame digital DSLR camera with 24.6 megapixels. The Sony Alpha 900 (A900) makes beautiful pictures with ultra fast shutter time. The A900 is produced with a full-frame Exmor CMOS-sensor, an AF-system, SteadyShot Inside and a clear and bright optical searcher.

Just a few months after the release of the Zi6, Kodak has already introduced its successor, the Kodak Zx1. Their new pocket HD camcorder is not only smaller and lighter, the Kodak Zx1, costing $149 is also 30 dollars cheaper. The only downside to the Zx1, compared to the earlier pocket HD camcorder, having a 2.0-inch LCD screen it’s only a tiny bit smaller.

Samsung launches the TL9, or as the digital camera is called in Europe, the NV9. This new super-slim Samsung camera is loaded with features. It has 5x optical zoom, 10.2 megapixels and a large 2.7 inch LCD. Next to these standard features the Samsung TL9 also includes an MP3 player, personal multimedia player and a digital camcorder.

Canon introduced the Canon EOS 5D Mark II Digital SLR camera. The new model from Canon is the successor to the EOS 5D. The latest model in the Xacti series is the Sanyo HD1010. The HD1010 looks much the same as the existing Sanyo Xacti camcorders. Sony might have suffered big losses in the stock market lately, but good thing that has not dampened their enthusiasm of rolling out new devices and products to keep us consumers feeling happy.
