The Archos 5 is a beautiful touch-screen media tablet that can be used to browse the web, send emails, watch videos and for lots of other things. I don’t know about you, but there is just something about gaming notebooks that turn me off. Number one, you have the extra bulk to tote around which certainly won’t bode well for your back in the long run, while the battery life is nothing short of shameful. In Berlin at the IFA of 2008 the Japanese company Toshiba showed a remarkable prototype. The Toshiba Cambridge Research Lab is momentarily working on a gesture control system. The gesture control system allows you to interact with the TV’s interface through hand movements.

Asus is unstoppable: Eee PC900, 901, 903, 904, 905, 1000 and it is likely that more will follow. Besides Asus and MSI there are other producers that put their money on the production of netbooks. It makes sense. After all, who doesn’t want an ultra portable laptop?

By virtue of its price, its desktop processor, and its Blu-ray drive, the Sony Vaio JS190J makes a case for itself as the new king of the all-in-ones. Its screen might be a bit smaller than some, but no other all-in-one, including Apple's iMac, can do as much, as fast, for the same price.
